As part of a strategy to drive $150M in new vertical revenue, the ads marketing team launched a multi-channel campaign targeting marketers in the Retail category.

Custom Retail Research

We commissioned custom research with Harris Poll to uncover how streaming influences shopping. The results were compelling — 7 in 10 viewers shop online while streaming, and 87% take action after seeing an ad. These insights anchored Tubi’s value story for retail advertisers and fueled all of our sales and marketing materials.

Retail & Beauty Summit in NYC

Press & Paid Campaign

To extend the reach of the campaign, we published a press release that garnered 6 stories and 1.3M+ impressions. Additionally, we launched a LinkedIn paid media campaign targeting event attendees & lookalike marketers.

We hosted Tubi’s first Retail & Beauty Summit at the Crosby Hotel in NYC, with 30 top clients — including Macy’s, Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, and Amazon – in attendance. The event was a hit: clients were texting our team mid-session to request follow-ups and new business meetings.

The Impact

The campaign was a success, helping Tubi’s sellers book 9 net-new client meetings, triggering over 15 new RFPs from clients including Amazon and Target, and ultimately helped generate over $1.3M in net-new revenue.
